To start off I would love to be one of those people that makes those delicious acai bowls, overnight oats, egg muffins, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, waffles, etc. AND Yes, I mean I could be one of those people, but working a full-time job, having a crazy commute, trying to find the time to blog, relax and eat... I have chosen to spend my free time sleeping instead of slaving away in the kitchen.

I can't tell you how many times I have googled recipes or did a quick Pinterest search trying to find breakfast recipes that are quick and easy, AND I swear, all that appears is a 30-minute quiche recipe or something that needs to be made overnight or 5 days beforehand (OK, maybeee I'm exaggerating a bit, but that is what I am here for).

Anywho, I would love to call myself a planner, but when it comes to preplanning meals I am not interested in thinking about what meal to cook for breakfast 3 days in advance. All I can handle is waking up, getting myself ready, making myself a glass of cold brew and grabbing my breakfast/lunch that is already packed (I'm the girl who is constantly stressing out, always on the verge of being late, and living my life day by day, yet takes the time to think oh maybe I should be more proactive, but never is).

My goal: get to work & sit down to eat something somewhat nutritional, yet tasty, while trying to plan out the workload I have for the day (IF I wanted to disrupt my coworkers with 10 thousand ingredients and cooking tools like I am a chef on Chopped, I would follow one of these Pinterest "quick & easy breakfast meals", but I am somewhat self aware and not going to do so. IF you are doing this, stop it rn).

Bottom line, if your lazy like me and are trying to cut back on bagels/donuts from a drive-thru, or eating a pop tart that is crushed and has been sitting in your purse for over a week, I have listed a few breakfast ideas that might be a perfect fit for you!

Side Note: Use whatever type of food brand that is your preference, I am just mentioning/linking my favorites and what I use!

1. Lightly Toasted Slices of Bread with Avocado & Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

Ingredients: 1-2 slices of whole wheat bread, 1 avocado, and Everything But Bagel Seasoning (the seasoning can be bought at Trader Joe's)

2. Nut Butter, Banana & Chia Seed Toast

Ingredients: 1-2 slices of whole wheat bread, 1 banana , and chia seed

3. Oatmeal with Fruit

Ingredients: 1-2 packets of blueberry oatmeal & 1 banana cut up (use whatever fruit suits you)

4. Yogurt with Granola & or Fruit

Ingredients: 1 yogurt, 2-3 tablespoons of granola & cut a few cut up strawberries (you can also substitute the granola with fruit, oats, chia seeds or even add a mixture of all)

5. Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients: It is best to make this is in a magic bullet so you can just throw the ingredients in the blender and go! In the blender, I add 1 cup of strawberry yogurt, 1 banana, 1 cup of strawberries, 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1.5 - 2 cups of ice (depending on how thick you want it)

PS: Again, you can substitute everything I have mentioned, and please reach out if you have a quick & easy breakfast tip/meal for me to try!
