Hey All,

I recently bought the Discovery Kit from Tula, and honestly I don't even know where to start! If you have read any of my recent skincare blogs you know that I have dryer skin and I am always looking for new face washes, serums, creams, and toners to use that won't dry out my face. WelllllllI I follow a few bloggers and they ALL have been hyping up all Tula products (I mean I know they are getting paid for their posts, so how much can you really trust them), so I obviously needed to try out the products for myself. Obviously, I am not going to go spend $20+ on a product when I don't even know if it works, so I was very happy to see that they offered starter kits.

The Three Starter Kits That They Offer:

Discovery Kit ($52 - this is for hydration, nourishment, youthfulness, and balanced skin)

  • Purifying Face Cleanser - 1 fl oz

  • Pro-Glycolic Resurfacing Gel - 28 ml

  • Illuminating Face Serum - 0.5 fl oz

  • Hydrating Day & Night Cream - 0.5 oz

  • Limited edition TULA travel bag

Clear Complexion ($52 - hydration, smoothness, reduces redness/irritation, balances, and moisturizes skin)

  • Purifying Face Cleanser - 1 fl oz

  • Pro-Glycolic Resurfacing Gel - 28 ml

  • Aqua Infusion Oil-Free Gel Cream - 0.5 fl oz

  • Exfoliating Treatment Mask - 0.5 oz

Anti-Agining Discovery Kit ($52 - hydration, reduces fine lines, reduces puffiness, brightens, reduces dull skin, and moisturizes skin)

  • Purifying Face Cleanser - 30 ml

  • Volume Defense Wrinkle Serum - 15 ml

  • Hydrating Day & Night Cream - 15 g

  • Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum - 7 g

  • 2 Individually wrapped Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pads

  • Limited edition TULA travel bag

As I said before I got the "Discovery Kit" (its the first kit listed), and the first thing I need to talk about is the purifying cleanser. I have an extremely hard time liking/ or sticking with the same cleaner because they always tend to dry my face out (to the point my face becomes flakey or itchy, which is notttt cute). This face wash does the exact opposite! It comes out as a gel, and once you start washing your face it becomes a light foam. It not only removes all makeup, cleans deep into your pores, but it also leaves your face feeling extremely soft, smooth, and hydrated.

As for the resurfacing gel and the illuminating serum they both work together to give your face an even-toned glow, while reducing dark spots. I have said a few times before that I struggle with dark spots (older acne scars/ sun spots), and just within a few weeks I have noticed that they have started to progressively fade.

Last, but not least (enter drum role here).... is the day & night cream! I have been using a drunk elephant (see my product review here) whipped cream for a few months now and have been obsessed, but this might be a new favorite. My issue with finding a cream is they are soooo thick, to the point that they clog my pores. What I NEED is something that is light, spreads evenly, and almost evaporates into your skin (aka not something that is a thick layer of paste just sitting on my face, clogging my pores, and causing me to breakout more). Obviously it's hard to find the exact contincey that you are looking for, while achieving the exact results you need, BUT this day & night cream is pretty damn close to perfect (legit I don't even think there could be anything else out there).

  • It is super light (a little goes a long way btw)

  • Is very hydrating (locks in the moisture)

  • It's not tacky or goopy so you can use it the morning and still put makeup on (it won't make your makeup run or have your face look oily)

  • It restores your skin & balances it out (giving you an overall youthful glow)

Bottom line guys, I made this blog to help people find products that work, share sales that are bomb, and give any tips or advice I can! I would never ever steer you guys in the wrong direction about a product, or just throw a blog up just to advertise it because I am getting paid for it (FYI this is not an ad by any means). If you have any more questions about the product, please feel free to reach out to me directly!

FYI: Expect a "Complextion Kit" Product Review in the future, because I have heard amazing things about their face masks!
